Wlan Repeaters are rather bad, although they amplify the signal, they have the problem that they must be on the one hand in the reception area of the router in order to pick up their signal and then continue to suffice, but on the other hand they also throttle it and can cause errors (not much different than silence post).
Instead of a repeater, it is always better to place a line by network cable somewhere and then plug in a device like another access point, an aging would also be DLAN/Powerln devices that share the network signal via the socket and then plug a radio transmitter in another socket(is the first way if you don’t want to lay cables and the power supply isn’t too old/house too old, otherwise it can also make problems)
You can check the signal strength with “Wifi Analyzern” on your handy and see where you still have good reception you can put the repeater there.
In Powerlan hbe cih, good experiences with Devolo and Tp Link have been made, but here too, this is something to thrott, even here it can only be the half of the line, depending on the power grid (why it is always very useful to take the 1200MBit devices if you place value on a fast internet or DSL faster than 200,000).
The advantage of Powerlan is that it is often possible to use several radio transmitters (from the same manufacturer).

No, you have 1&1 Internet.
That’s a difference.
If you really have a “amplifyer” at the start, then it wouldn’t surprise me – after all, things are either illegal or bring nix.
Unknowledge in physics and network technology.
I doubt, for example, that you really have one Amplifier in operation.
Much more likely is a badly placed Repeater – if necessary with non-valued hardware and not respecting the local conditions for radio equipment. 🤔
If you want to read in and smart, let me know.
If I had enough knowledge, I would not ask in an app that is made to ask questions. A repeater is probably an amplifier, no idea what you want from me. Don’t know what you’re trying to do if you’re writing such great answers, because you haven’t helped me now. And if you have so much knowledge, use it meaningfully and try to actively help people here (: nevertheless thank you
Logical. 😉
No, a repeater intensifies nix.
Oh – now you slide off in Ad Honimen – a very clear sign that you don’t have a bump to really acquire the know-how – and a sign that I’ve already spent too much time on your business.
Fare well with your (releasable) problem. I’ll be gone. (And others certainly also when they read this kind of reaction!)
Hello Kylorenn,
It’s hard to say I don’t know your apartment or other circumstances.
Can be connected:
-Qualitativ low-quality router/repeater
-Construction of the apartment (thick concrete walls naturally shield better than thin rigips walls)
-Sleep positioning of repeaters
– Generally bad line
-Limitating receiver
I don’t know what it is or whether it’s something else.

Oh, man and how do I get this out :/
That’s a good question. Start with simple things and position the repeaters differently.
In most cases, the contract simply ceases to exist. You need to talk to your provider if you can change the contract.
The WLAN has exactly NOT to do with the Internet provider.
Right! Just want to write it.
Of course? If you’ve bought a 5Mbit/s line, you won’t be able to stream 4K movies over your WLAN and download files.
In most cases, it is simply a large-small furnished WLAN. Rarely it is on the Internet. However, it is often the case that users make the Internet provider responsible.
This is true, but the contract is rather rare. Before that, there are more limits on router/apartment property etc.
I can’t even google stuff on the phone goes garnix…
Nobody said that. Only a good router etc. does not bring you anything if your contract is extremely bad. And this is usually the case.
A Wlan network is not synonymous with Internet access and therefore not with Internet speed in the conventional sense.
This thing is a Fritzbox. The fact that you got 1&1 has nothing to do with the technology in there. Fritzboxes are known not to be particularly strong. The nature of your apartment also affects Wi-Fi.
And what can I do?
I can tell you I don’t have 1 and 1 but where I was 1 and 1 there were no problems
Your provider has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of your Wlans.
With what else? From the wlan comes the router
I’m getting involved because I want to acquire and communicate knowledge. Maybe I’m wrong. Often even. But then I want to be convinced.
that you let yourself in such a weak mind.
I would be too stupid to justify myself at the technical level
I know where the problem is. The WLan network is not far enough. And DAS has nothing to do with the provider. Because the provider is not responsible for your WLan network. It’s just there to connect your apartment to the Internet, as you distribute the Internet in it then, is your problem.
So instead of pretending, I don’t know what I’m talking about, you could just express your opinion and explain why I’m wrong.
Don’t have to be but can further discussion with you makes me no sense because you don’t know what the problem is with Fs
No. Because Wlan is not the Internet on a flat-rate basis.
Of course, if the wlan walks and no internet is there at the provider
Converse 😉
Wlan≠ Internet access
That’s why the provider also has nix to do with the Wlan.
