WiFi antenna constantly reconnecting?
Hello, for the past two days, I've been having a problem where I have to manually unplug and reconnect the Wi-Fi antenna from my PC's Wi-Fi card every time I start up (i.e., unscrew and reconnect the connectors), because otherwise my PC absolutely refuses to connect to the Wi-Fi. Does anyone know what could be causing this? I've only had the PC since the beginning of January, so something can't be broken, can it?
Oh, I did. On a quite new Windows 10 Pro system. Even installed and well maintained. But something did not vote or better with the PCIe Wi-Fi card, anything with Windows related to this card did not vote. I’ve been trying to solve the problem for weeks, but I haven’t had a lasting success. Only a complete reinstallation of Windows 10 Pro has finally led to the fact that the meanwhile glowingly hated WLAN card has made its job true for the next five years!
Hab windows 11, I hope I don’t have to go so far and make something complicated, that’s what I want to reconnect. But thanks
No, you don’t have to if you were so smart and have made regular backups from your system disk.
Then you just have to play an image back from the time it still worked.
Install the latest drivers from the manufacturer website. The antennas are nothing more than simple “plug connections” and do not help your WLAN card “newly connect”. This is all about the chip itself.
