Benzodiazepines, such as lorazepam, diazepam, etc., have very high dependency potentials and should not be taken on a continuous and daily basis. Dependence begins after about 2 to 3 weeks, therefore benzos should only be taken from time to time, although occasionally relative. That’s what your doctor decides. Pregabalin is not a benzodiazepine. Although it also has a damping effect, it is different from the various benzodiazepines. The anxious effects should only occur after prolonged intake.
