I got my braces removed in January. Until now, I had to wear clear retainers. Today I got a wire retainer fitted on my lower teeth. How long does it normally stay in?

the health insurance pays the retention for a maximum of two years. After that, the result is stable or not. In any case, you are responsible for this. For some, retention is a lifelong task. This depends mainly on the patient's age and the corrected misalignments.
