My Visa credit card is only valid for a few months. Now I'm wondering if it will be automatically renewed, meaning I'll receive a new card without having to do anything, or if I have to apply for a new card myself?
I am with the Sparkasse.

A credit card, Girocard and Debitcard is not extended, but you get a new automatic.
As long as you do not cancel the credit card yourself, a new one will be issued and sent before the expiry date.
The same principle as with the Sparkassen-Card.
