How can I keep my rabbit busy?
My rabbit seems very bored these days when he's sitting in his hutch or outdoor enclosure. I'd like to keep him busy. I have plenty of space and plenty of time to do something. If you can recommend anything to keep him busy, please let me know.
First of all, you should definitely get a second rabbit, that’s a big job already, and then the one your animal is kind.
Now for human employment:
The easiest thing is to increase the feed and spread it in the cradle so that the rabbits have to develop the feed. You can also put the food on a stick and attach it to the cradle with a natural base. However, one should only do this under supervision so that it can be intervened if something goes wrong.
A feed tree is also a possibility:
You can also simply put hay in a toilet paper roll, but a ball is more interesting. To do this, it is necessary to cut the roll into rings, put it in one another and then put hay in. In addition, the hiding places can be changed every 1-2 weeks.
Another way is to make Pappkarton’s houses. It should be noted that no adhesive tape residues or stickers are on it. The best is the cardboard also unprinted.
You can also make something like this:
I also remember the butter bomb. Fill a low carton with lining (remove sticker beforehand) and put it closed. With things made of cardboard it’s not bad when they are cracked, but if the little ones really eat everything, the cardboard should be removed.
Another great, but somewhat more elaborate job opportunities is the “Gisterbahnauslauf”. To this end, hides such as shelters, grazing tunnels, houses etc. are placed relatively wildly everywhere and throws over it 1-2 larger blankets, which are allowed to touch the floor in between. The rabbits then stumble between the blankets and have a lot of fun.
The most popular are fresh branches. Even without leaves, these are also nicely cracked and broken. You can just put the branches in the ridges of Weidenbrücken. You can also use a hole brick or build an extra branch:
I feed different fruit tree branches. Apple, plum, Mirabelle and pear are particularly popular. Hasel likes to eat mine. Most of them are found in pastures. Rarely there is also maple or chestnut.
It is also possible to build a labyrinth from cardboard, but the rabbits must not be forced to pass through.
There is always something here – although there is a string for guinea pigs, there is also a lot of what you can do for rabbits: https://www.sifle.de/Saute-Spiele.htm.

Join a second rabbit!
If it has not yet been castrated, then wait for 6 weeks of castration quadrantine and then perform a fault-free socialization with an equal female on neutral soil.

You could somehow build new “toys” or small huts or so, then you are both busy:)
Look at the Internet for toys or craft yourself. Put them in an open-minded bed so they can shoot around.
Nen second rabbits. Two of them are rare alone.
The problem is that my hate society avoids and we already had a second hate. We had to separate them because he was hoping. The 2nd is now. Has died of a heat beat😔
then was not properly socialized. He still needs a fellow.
Then to a new…
you can’t have a rabbit😂du have nh rabbit
@fio123 sorry I’m very often writing.
@Cepha what do you mean
If you properly associate the animals, it is perfectly normal that they attack. They have to fight the rank.
You can’t believe that. And I’m sorry for the other rabbit when he attacks it. I wonder if the other rabbit really needs to be hurt for it.
Please find out how to make rabbits right. Your rabbit is not aggressive.
I have already made it from friends who also hated many with the others and he has attacked all of them. Luckily nothing worse happened, but I’m too risky.
I can’t do a new rabbit because my hate is very aggressive towards fellows
A new rabbit to it…
