Wing broken?
Hello folks ,
I flew from Munich to Frankfurt today, at short notice, on what I assume is a Boeing 737-8, and I somehow had the feeling that the spoiler might be damaged. Is that normal or not? I took this picture on the plane.

Hello, I just checked in online. The confirmation states "Fast Bag Drop, First, Business: Hall A; Economy: Hall B." I understand that with an Economy ticket, you can only drop off your luggage in Hall B. Since we're flying from Gate Z52, it would be a detour. Does anyone know how to get around this…
How big can the hand luggage be and do I have to check it in on TAP flights from Frankfurt to Gran Canaria?
Hello, I am trying to check in online for my flight from Frankfurt to Seoul. I'm flying with T'way Air. Since yesterday, whenever I try to access the website, I get the error message "You are rate limited." No matter what device I try to access it on. Has anyone ever had this problem? Is…
https://youtube.com/shorts/FSNeJTGtPOs What do you think? Bärbock's Luftwaffe flight had the same problem twice. Both times, 80 tons of kerosene were released. Can that happen or do you think this is just nonsense, along the lines of, you can do it with taxpayers' money?
Hello, My relatives in Turkey bought me a plane ticket, but unfortunately, I can't make it due to an acute foot burn. I wanted to spend the whole summer on vacation, but that's no longer possible. My doctor has certified a 30-day travel ban, but my mother, who communicates with my relatives in Turkey, says…
I am going on vacation and would like to take my violin with me. Can I take it with me as a second piece of hand luggage, so to speak?
Hello together,
I agree with Pilotflying. The supporting surface is that of an aircraft of the A320 or A321.
The enclosed area is the outer end rib of the outboard flap. The projecting edge which can be seen at the flap end is part of the flap bearing within the wing structure. Doesn’t look beautiful, but it is necessary for the flap to find the wing again after the start.
The dark surfaces at the other end are sealing surfaces which close with the surface of the flap.
I can’t see a defect here.
No, that’s not normal, there seems to have been a broken piece during the flight.
What kind of airline was that?
I just read Lufthansa. O
Lufthansa LH 0103
Was there hail or bird stroke?
No not at all, just light rain.
In any case, report to Lufthansa & at Fraport or the Authority.
if that happens in other places, that’s bad. What if this falls during the flight and meets someone?
You can also be beaten by lightning or a meteor, but the chance is extremely low.
Yes.
a catastrophe / a crash will not happen, but if material fatigue has broken out, it can also happen in other places.
Contrary to the answers here, the small “nase” on the landing flap at the A321 is completely normal, which can be found on every picture of the supporting surface:
But that was a boeing as far as I know the wing shape was different.
According to flightaware, the route is served only with the A321. What would also fit as the 737 has a different landing flap configuration:
I would like to send them the complete picture, but on this app it is unfortunately not possible…
Airbus A320
*A321 😉
Yes
It’s not 737, it’s a plane from the A320 family. In addition, this is the flaps and not the flaps.
That was a 737
You don’t have to tell a pilot. I know what the wing of an A320 and a 737 looks like. At Lufthansa, there’s not much going on with 737!
NO TOTAL
I can send her all the wing I’m sure of it.
I’m not a joker or something, but I’m sure I am.
Did you tell the crew?
No, because I wasn’t sure.
What’s the matter?
