Windows won't boot?

I really messed up…

I was having problems with my hard drive, so I recently bought a new SSD from Samsung. I connected it (the PC was off), but Windows still didn't recognize it, even after restarting. So I turned it off completely and swapped the data cables on both SSDs to see if one of them was defective, but I forgot that Windows was installed on the other SSD. I turned the PC off straight away and swapped it back, but it didn't help. As far as I know, my PC can no longer find the Windows files. The restore point was a long time ago, so it would be better if I didn't have to do that.

Thank you for any answer and Happy New Year

If you have a new hard drive, you need to reinstall Windows.

If you replace your hard drive with a new one, then of course you need to reinstall Windows. But if you only use the SSD as a second (nex) hard drive, then it’s different.
