Windows tablet app for writing for school?

So, I got a Windows tablet from my brother, but I'm not allowed to pay for the app or buy anything. I'd like something like GoodNotes, but that costs a bit. You definitely need to insert images on the page with text, but also pages with just an image that you can write on. I write with a pen and in other subjects, I use a keyboard. So I need something where I can do all of that.

I've tried a lot of things, but I'm currently writing on One Note, but the page is endless and when I write on pictures they often slip out of place.
