Disable Windows fast startup?
If I disable fast startup on my computer, it keeps restarting and doesn't stop when I shut it down. I've tried a few things, but it's driving me crazy that it doesn't work. I've already disabled Fast Boot and Secure Boot in the BIOS (Microsoft Forum tip), but that doesn't work either. Even a forced shutdown (shutdown -s -f -t 0) doesn't work. My last hope is good old gutefragen.net. I hope someone here can help me.
Hello,
when he starts from himself, he does not recognize the operating system.
So that he goes down clean, press the button until he calms down.
Hold the button and turn off the power supply at the rear.
And then you try it with the 3rd start.
So you’re pushing the ink, and as soon as he tries to boot,
press the button and hold until it turns off.
You do that three times.
At the 4th time, he should go to repair.
If that doesn’t work, restart Windows.
If you don’t, I’ll tap a broken hard drive.
I don’t know why he starts with Fast Boot.
There the BIOS leaves some control phases.

It’s not clear how you’ve been doing this. – The quick start is usually in the Energy options deacted or activated.
See e.g.: https://praxistipps.chip.de/windows-11-faststart-deactivate-so-gangs_160917
I have already disabled the option in the energy options, but if I click down then the PC will drive down and restart directly.
You need to reinstall Windows. There’s a mistake in the system.
Why?
