Windows installation?
Hello,
I have an Asus Vivobook Go 14/15 with Windows 11 installed. I deleted it and replaced it with Windows 10. During the installation, I noticed that only Windows 10 Home was installed. But I want Windows 10 Pro. Reinstalling and resetting the BIOS didn't work either.
Does anyone have any advice?
buy a key for 10Pro and enter it, then have 10Pro
and I would be interested in what you always have with your “BIOS-Reset”? is this the all-health remedy for any problems…!?
I’m still asking what they’re doing in the BIOS. I haven’t done any resets since Win 95.
you don’t need it unless you do a BIOS update and then you automatically reset
Hello,
then you need to reinstall Win 10 per.
But the professional needs only,
if you want to connect your devices via servers.
BIOS Reset, has nothing to do with the operating system.
And also only makes sense if a virus should have penetrated to the I-O level.
Or the hardware no longer works properly.

or want to manage bitlocker
and if Home is installed, you only need to enter the key for Pro and then Win starts new and you already have Pro
Provided you have a matching key.
And the device has no electronic license,
as it is common nowadays.

So the customers… are happy with nix and only to talk around and then complain if it doesn’t run
Drum… we now have a lot to go out with the 08/15 installation
I know those too well.
There you set up the laptops with RAM, SSD etc.
Sets Windows 11 or whatever,
so that everything goes well
and flees and price.
Then the good customer has nothing else to do,
as to change the operating system pointlessly.
Hansi
why? there are those who want to have Pro even if they don’t need domain and bitlocker administration…
Unnecessary costs.

I presuppose a suitable key and the electronic license can be leveraged
