da hast Du das falsch verstanden:
Der Windows-Bootstick ist nur das Äquivalent zur früheren Installations-DVD, da die meisten neueren PCs gar kein DVD-Laufwerk besitzen. Boot heißt es nur deshalb, weil man den Stick einsteckt, danach den PC einschaltet und der PC nicht von der Festplatte startet (das nennt man eben booten) sondern von dem Stick startet.
Darauf sind nur die Installationsdateien, die man benötigt um Windows zu installieren!
Willst Du ein Backup (Sicherung) – also alle deine Dateien samt dem gesamten Windows erstellen, reicht ein Stick normalerweise nicht aus und wird auf einer externen Festplatte gespeichert.

Der Boot stick ist da um Win bei Problemen neu zu Installieren.
Deine daten/Dateien Wie Word. Bilder, runter geladenes sind solang auf dem Rechner wie du Win nicht frisch installierst.
Sicherst du die nicht, sind sie weg.
Daher gibt es externe Festplatten/Clouds. Darein gehören auch die Installationsdateien (.exe) für relevante Programme. Dein Downloadordner Die du nach der Neuinstallation frisch installieren musst,
Der einfachste weg um Problemen aus dem weg zugehen ist eine Systemabbild zu erstellen, Das kannst du dann statt der neuinstallation wieder aufspielen.
