Windows 11 on old hardware?

Entering setup.exe /product server from Windows 10 bypasses the stricter hardware requirements

My question: Will Firefox be retained? That would be important. If not, I would back up my profile and all users and passwords beforehand and then import them again later.

You should generally secure and all important data. Usually everything is preserved, but you should not rely on it.

If you circumvent certain conditions for Win11, it is possible that you do not receive any updates. then little meaningful

You should not generally rely on what is preserved. It would be better to make everything new. But you can save your settings such as bookmarks etc. with MozBackup and play back on the new system.

I would secure all important data at your place, whatever you do or updates. Also to be protected from viruses. Because if you secure your data, you can simply reinstall viruses and have no problems. Of course, the data can be kept, but I wouldn’t trust anything. Surely you can handle the “exercise” conditions with your Lifehack, but I would not recommend you simply because it can be Windows 11 not working on your hardware at least not smoothly because you have more fun with Windows 10 at the end of the day.

Actually, WIN10 is still supported by Microsoft and is still safe. If you have to have WIN11 due to it, I would recommend you pick up a new device, somehow getting through is not so horny.
