Windows 10 not recognized?
Hey everyone,
I recently installed a new CPU and updated the BIOS. Now the PC no longer recognizes Windows on the hard drive. However, it does recognize the hard drive.
Does anyone know what could be causing this?

I still have Windows 10 and wanted to ask, since I'm switching soon, whether the command prompt is still there or whether something has unfortunately been removed again (like Minesweeper and Nero back then). Thanks in advance
AI will soon be able to write texts so that you won't even notice whether the person is real or not! It writes and converses like a human!
It always says: "Device is still in use" etc. What do I have to close in the task manager to make it work? Thanks in advance.
Hello everyone, I'm currently setting up my dad's new laptop and I've run into a small problem. The laptop has Windows 11. When I wanted to install some software he needed, I was completely desperate because the laptop couldn't read the stick. Then I looked on the Internet and saw that this software only supports…
Hello, I have a 1 TB Crucial SSD. Currently, she just copies or downloads things at regular intervals. This makes it a bit less fun, as everything downloads more slowly.
without overclocking
Turn CSM off or on.
If I place it on CSM, then I cannot activate secure boot and thus download Win 11. Do you have a different solution?
If your MBR-style plate is formatted (what I suspect), you need to reinstall Win11 completely anyway.
Was it about Win10?
update bios to the latest version and then convert Secure Boot to Custom, Enroll Factory Default Keys
So I tried something. I can use the USB boot, but to install WIndows, I need to have secure boot enabled. With Secure Boot it does not recognize the USB. You know why?
If I understood you correctly, your PC doesn’t want to boot from the stick. Did you activate USB boot in Bios?
Do you have any idea what I could do?
Yes! So I can use this to install Win 11 (I used the Media création tool)!
What do you mean “as an update”? Did you use the Media Creation Tool?
So I secured Windows or hard drive and then set the bios back to UEFI with secure boot. I’ve loaded Windows to a USB stick (as an update), but with Secure boot, it doesn’t recognize a hard drive or USB stick. You know what could happen?
Thank you. I will.
That’s right. Backup data, turn off CSM, activate Secure Boot and (f)TPM, boot from stick, delete all partitions, then click on more.
achso, so do I have to back up all the data and reinstall Win 11 completely?
Build the CPU again.
