Windows 10/11 tpm 2.0 problem?

Hello everyone,

I have an annoying problem, maybe someone can help me.

My components (relevant):

Motherboard: Asus B550-F Gaming

CPU: Ryzen 9 5900X

GPU: Asus RTX 4090

I wanted to upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 Pro. When I tried to install it, I received an error message saying my system wasn't ready for Windows 11 because TPM 2.0 wasn't enabled.

I've correctly enabled everything under "AMD fTPM Configuration" in the BIOS. However, tpm.msc still shows that no TPM was found.

I've now managed to install Windows 11 without a TPM using a few tricks, but this isn't a permanent solution. I'm unlikely to be able to receive updates from Microsoft this way.

Does anyone have experience with this issue? It can't be true that I can't use Windows 11 on a €4,000 PC.

Look there. There is the BIOS option Trusted Device > Security Device Support the speech.

Have the TPM activation done via “OK” confirmed– See e.g.:

It’s not true you don’t get any updates…

You will continue to get the other updates with TPM as well.
