Will programmers soon be unemployed?
because of AI and there are many people who study information, of course even more abroad (China+India) with great minds who play a pivotal role.

Hey ho friends. I recently started working on a fairly small game. I converted it into an executable file using python -m auto_py_to_exe, which I can run and play without any problems on my computer (Python 3.10 is installed). I asked around if anyone who doesn't have Python installed would like to try it out….
Nobody ever added me, is there a reason? I mean, everyone else gets requests, but not me.

I'm not really a web developer, but I think I could do it, since I'm a logician, etc., and I find IT pretty easy. I just need information and sources on where and how to do this. Are there tutorials on how to create a platform website, or do I ultimately have to hire someone…

From today’s point of view it is difficult to estimate, but you still need, and will still need long people with technical understanding to implement software projects. I see Ki more than ever more powerful tools, more but not. One can thus increase productivity with these tools, but a software project cannot implement them alone. Although there are subareas that can be largely automated by AI, for example in the field of web design for relative standard website, most software projects are too complex than that one AI can implement, as long as this AI is not really at least as intelligent as a human being. And there we are not.
It is also easy to forget that one of the biggest challenges of a software project is the task of implementing the vision or requirements of clients, most of whom do not have a technical understanding and often do not even know what they actually want. I want to see the AI that can.
I would at least find it good if wages were significantly lower. Currently, the AI is not yet at the point that it could replace programmers. But definitely support. If you would develop an extensive software with good AI, you could certainly also decrease a large part of the work.
I find the wages too high because the results are simply often very difficult. Of course there are exceptions and I do not speak of them either. Good performance must be paid well.
This usually happens in the USA, or in countries that speak English (Canada, Australia…) and in Switzerland. In other countries is not that, it is difficult to find someone who earns more than 100k…
I am a programmer myself and can say that AI is not taking over programming. Even if you give the AI all possible bibilotheques and information, it often makes mistakes.
Good programmers will definitely be there for some time. AI will need a lot to understand all the concepts that programmers need to implement a whole project correctly. Even if they build simple Python scripts today. In addition, there are still connected areas such as system administration, etc. which are still needed.
Programmers will definitely work differently. Keywords Prompt Engineer.
So the “average programmer” that just writes down code will certainly no longer exist in the future.
What is he supposed to be replaced?
the question also comes constantly -> no they are not.
