Yes 65 dB are relatively quiet. A conversation with normal volume has about 50 dB, a lawn mower about 80.
65db is right, you can start a normal conversation with your counterpart. A sewing machine, the volume in a canteen during lunchtime or a TV in room volume also have about 65db. Like I said, it’s not loud.
With our dryer, the volume is also 65db and I work next door and so it doesn’t bother in the least.
