Want to become a full-stack web developer?

Which programming languages, frameworks, etc. do you need to become one without a degree or university? And where can you learn programming languages for free, like HTML, CSS, Python, Javascript, Java—everything you need. Thanks in advance.

Hello,

you can easily access web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and SQL. The learning curve is very flat at the beginning and the entrance is easy.

You can find the most part on our site wiki.selfhtml.org There you will find the corresponding content to learn in German. In addition, I can recommend you to get books for the topic. Mostly there are books on the topic.

You do not learn that in your studies or in training.
Learning by Doing, best alone, so in the end is also the profession.

And I work with C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, Blazor and, of course, HTML, CSS, a little JavaScript (thanks to Blazor hardly necessary) and a little SQL (thanks to the Entity Framework Core). In addition, the various frameworks that you have in connection with ASP.NET Core and a laaaange list of internally developed frameworks for such pauses as XLSX, DOCX or PDF reports.

And don’t start with web development, the field is complex. Start with simple console applications and then desktop applications, with the latter the entry is a lot easier than with the web development, especially for learning OOP that is important. In addition, you should have understood some concepts (e.g. Dependency Injection) before starting with ASP.NET Core, because without you will not come forward.

And consider whether you want to specialize, so frontend, or backend, or both (full stack). I do fullstack, but my strength is not in the front end – I am with CSS on the war foot ^^

Learning by doing, there are enough videos on YT. Then just consider a project and see how you can do it all. e.g. create form and save in database -> After successful saving feedback to users.

What language?

There is no right answer for this, and everyone will tell you something else. One says learn a framework, the next one says no learn. Then the question is React, Angular, Vue,js, Svelte (you will always find someone who says: “Lern … everything else is garbage”

It depends much more on where you want to work and what you want to do B2B applications, B2C websites, online shops, online tools. Want to work in startup, small businesses, agency or group

I hope you know the difference between full-stack, back-end and front-end.

Depending on the field of application, you need other languages/frameworks and technologies.
