Will everything go back to normal?
I overdosed on sleeping pills the day before yesterday. It was really intense and traumatic. I was hallucinating intensely, had brain cramps, and twitches all over my body. I was in the intensive care unit until yesterday. I'm still dizzy all the time, it's hard to think, and I'm scared all the time. Will this go away?
My mother experienced something similar. She was also one night in intensive care and restless (but awake and could not speak but has heard us). According to the attending doctor, we shouldn't worry. the typical sleeping pill from the pharmacy is not strong enough to kill someone. It took a while until my mother was able to move again, and a little more until she was really fit again.
As long as you notice a steady uphill, all right, I think. But after 2 days the symptoms should not be flattened, then call your doctor, if necessary 116 117 (they can also advise you, and better than we here).
The feelings of anxiety, however, could show a general mental problem, which you should possibly separate from the physical sufferings of sleeping tablets. There is a medical contact here anyway.
Depends on which tablets you took and how much the transfer was. But if you've been on the ITS until yesterday, you're probably not released – so you can just talk to the doctor in charge.
You should urgently go to the doctor and let that go.
You should talk to your treating doctors.
It must be assumed.
