Will a 2080 ti fit?

Will an RTX 2080 TI 11GB fit?

Hello!

I currently have a GTX 1060 installed in my PC and would now like to upgrade to an RTX 2080 11GB. Is that even possible?

Processor: Intel i7 4790

Motherboard: ASRock H97 Performance

RAM: 32Gb DDR3

One more question for the future: Can anyone tell me what I should look out for with the components or is there a website/app somewhere that can tell me whether my old components would be compatible with newer ones?

thanks in advance

All graphics cards of the last 17 years with PCi-E connector are compatible with all motherboards of the last 17 years with PCi-E slot.

Otherwise, only the power supply must be sufficient. (and if there is a very old GPU, also give a driver if a current operating system is used)

You can also combine Bsp. nen Core 2 Duo from 2009 and an RTX 4090 and this even works easily under Windows 10. (possibly I tested the fun for a few days ago.)

Hello,

is possible. The hardware is compatible. However, the RTX 2080Ti is braked massively in the setup. Even with gaming on 4K. So here is a weaker card than upgrade.

If your power supply is not too weak, this is not a problem.
