WiFi router in the children’s room?

Hello, we have got new wifi (fiber optic) and the fiber optic box is in the children's room.

accordingly, the box is also connected there.
Can you get radiation from it? Is it dangerous in a child's room?

Is it even carcinogenic?

If you, your child, use a device with Wi-Fi like mobile phone, tablet, laptop, …, then these devices send much closer to the body, as well as radiation in the same (lower) strength to the router as the router to the devices. 😉

In this respect – no fear! Routers like cell phones etc don’t make cancer! In addition, for example, many LEDs etc. also emit interference radiation.

No.

Radiation from the WLAN router is not ionizing and therefore does not have the power to change atoms and molecules.

No, it’s not. Electromagnetic rays do not cause cancer. They are generally harmless. At least in the strengths as is customary with WLAN.

It is not proven to me that radiation is dangerous, but there are indications that it should trigger brain diversion. But no one knows if that really is the case.

What should be, however, is that the radio causes sleep disorders.

It’s best to turn on Wi-Fi only if you really need it.

And all the chargers, TVs, LEDs, … also the same! All this also emits radiation, will be overlooked.

In my knowledge, there is a vast majority of studies that cannot find a connection between sleep disorders and WLAN rays.

Researchers are more likely to suspect the mobile connection. This is much stronger than any wireless connection as well as mobile phone masts as well as your mobile phone (the two have to somehow communicate over long distances).

However, all this is small in comparison with that most are still on their phone just before they go to sleep and so do not come to rest.

It doesn’t even need radio waves to cause sleep disorders.

So if you’re afraid of invisible waves, Wlan is the least problem. If you would see that you would hardly discover a piece of air anywhere because everything is full of rays, that is, from visibility, you would not see any more air.

Radio waves, radio waves, bluetooth etc.

You probably won’t get a viable answer to this question, I’m afraid.

Finally, many of these technological things/renewals or their benefits or damage a “believe question”. And the social media will give you every answer you want. .. yes, ..no, ..maybe.
