Wieviele Flugbegleiter:innen pro Flug?
Hallo, es geht um die Anzahl der Flugbegleiter:innen auf einer Boeing 737-800 und Boeing 737-700. Meines Wissens sind pro 50 Passagiere ein:e Flugbegleiter:in vorgeschrieben. Standardmäßig wären das 3 Flugbegleiter:innen auf einer B737 und 4 auf einer B738. Ich hatte in letzter Zeit mehrmals auf einer B737-700 4 Flugbegleiter:innen und auf einer B738 auch schon mal 5. Ist das normal? Kann es sein, dass eine Person noch sozusagen in Ausbildung ist? Oder kann das daran liegen, dass die Fluggesellschaft zu dem Zeitpunkt zu wenig Flüge hat für die Flugbegleiter, die aktuell im Arbeitsplan eingetragen sind?

For service reasons, the company can decide to use more FB than minimum crew.
747-400 has 12 minimums. However, there are more and more FBs, because caviar and mapped corglobals in First Class already bind 2 FB alone for 8 passengers.
For the first time I want to say that the flight attendant is primarily responsible for safety. Therefore, a minimum number of flight attendants is specified for each aircraft type in order to ensure safety.
Airlines have internal but their own rules, but of course they must not fall below the minimum requirements. That’s why at a 737 800 or a320 it’s always 4, it’s on the airplane model.
Flight attendants are not trained in normal passengers, but in a simulator.
Thank you for your answer. That’s all clear to me. I was just wondering what it might be that on a normal Boeing 737-800 flight on a certain airline 5 flight attendants are there, although virtually all other airlines where I have flew so far were always only 4 of them.
