Our children have calculated their pocket money according to certificate

For a 1 gave 5 Mark / €

For a 2 gave 1 Mark /€

for a 3 gave nothing

for 4 deductions of 1 Mark / €

for a 5 draw-off 5 Mark / €

at 6 the whole pocket money would have been completely canceled and the holiday would have given it from early to late lessons

For this we have still looked at where they had simply heavier from nature, now one is not capable of math, the other has not so much with languages, in the particular subject we have always treated the note better than it was actually.

Tbh this sounds like a terrible pressure for the children…

Not only want to write good grades from the school, then still expect to get his money off at home.

Absolutely uneducational.

Hello? What are the parents supposed to use as an education?

Our company builds on power pressure when children do not learn this piece by piece they go when they are then thrown into cold water with 18.

A 4 would be acceptable if my children hadn’t been smart enough and still had tasted for school. However, since they were not overwhelmed, the performance claims were also maintained accordingly.

We have always supported our children when they arrived and wanted to explain this or that, or needed help in learning, or in the homework, these help was without discussion, but does not mean that you can put a requirement on your children. They don’t have secrets, they wouldn’t have been able to do it either, because it would have been noticed at the parents’ meeting at the latest. And if we didn’t know mercy on one thing, it was lies.

The pocket money should be fixed and invariable, so as to be a parent you absolutely do not intervene.

Of course you intervene, either as a punishment or as a reward. It’s called education.

I don’t think so. It only builds more power pressure.

Also, not every performance at school is 1 or 2. A 4 is still insisting to punish at all I find naughty.

Parents should support children, not restrict. Your kids probably kept secreting you.

The pocket money should be fixed and invariable, so as to be a parent you absolutely do not intervene.

I take pocket money from my monthly income as an adult… about 5%. …. I don’t need more.

My intermediately grown children received pocket money in the lower area of the respective pocket money tables. Who wanted more – please, there was the possibility of smaller pupil jobs.

So I got 50 marks a month earlier (as from 13 years old) which was then generously converted to 50 euros into a pocket money account. That’s what I’d do with my kid.

Yeah, I think it was a lot. But also find that a student should focus on learning and being child/younger. Working life starts early enough.

I’m 17 and get 60€ a month since I was 15. But work by the way.

My younger sister gets 20€ a month with 15 40€ and my brothers with 10 and 11 years.

Until I was 15, I got 30 euros of pocket money. After that, nothing more because I had my own income through a company establishment. Since then, I have to make money at home.

I’m 15 and I get 50 euros. But also very often what is deleted so that it is only 30 or 40 euros or sometimes even nix.

Ours are 14 and 15 and get 15€ each month
If they want more, then they know what they can do at their age and that’s called pupil job.

I really don’t think it’s okay to carry out the newspaper.

It’s almost everywhere in Germany. Many parents commit their children, but there is hardly any money.

There are enough offers and depending on how old you are, you also have your fixed working hours. My stepdaughter and her girlfriend went out every day after school for 2 hours and still managed to make a good Abi.

I don’t give a pocket money, but pay monthly on a building-saving contract… 30+old in years… I find a reasonable size. Not too much, but also enough to have something in your hand.

Whether the child learns such a healthy handling of money…

Of course – the opportunity to buy something expensive, or to weigh up, which is not to do and the money prefers to invest reasonably, instead of just short-term, is quite a learning process. And the experience that you can sometimes enjoy short-term pleasures, instead of always saving everything just forcibly, is also a lot of value and increases the sense of balancing.
