A BMI of 16.2?
Hello dear Gutefrage Community I'm worried about everything again and took a BMI test, which gave me 16.2. I'm 14 and 172cm tall, and I'm wondering how? I eat a lot of fat, a lot of vegetables and also do sports. Thanks for any answer 🙂

According to statistics, the average size for adult men in Germany is 1.80m (doubtfully, I think this value is too high).
Approximately 50% should therefore be smaller than 1.80m, less than 1.75m probably about 35%.
Approximately 35 per cent of men there (about 25 million ) are smaller than 175 cm, while half of them are smaller than 180.
Are not 100% of the men who are smaller than 1.75, smaller than 1.80m?

However, the Germans are likely to have become a bit larger in average since 2006.
It is difficult to mention an exact percentage, as there are no current official statistics on how many men in Germany are under 175 cm. According to estimates, the number is about 30-40%.
Most are in Baden Württemberg with 54% and the least are in Lower Saxony with 5.4%.
