I can’t recognize a misprint and the wear marks are not as strong as that.

So it’s simple 2 euros.

Could be exactly 2 € worth.

The 2 in the year could be a misprint, but that is not unusual in mass production and therefore not interesting for collectors.

And even if: due to the general signs of wear, it would hardly be worth much more.

Collectors are more looking for badly produced coins. What are valuable features can be researched online. Among other things, those from a low edition are more desirable.

Hello Gianina,

but this coin has only the nominal value of 2€.

It’s not a misprint either.

About two euros. It can be that someone gives you more, the chances for it are rather small.

All countries that have introduced the euro have agreed to imprint on their coins the value of the coin (in € or Ct). The value is on the back of this coin.

Believe it’s worth a lot – it’s not like a bargain!
