As a rule, I am trying to keep my hotels to the maximum of 100. But it depends on where I am. In Switzerland, for example, it is almost impossible to get something halfway usable under 150. Short-term trips can also become more expensive, always arrives on time and destination

If you’re on business trip as an employee, your company pays, right? They’ll have a budget.

If you’re self-employed, I’d find the right mix between necessary comfort and austerity, the money you spend on the hotel is going to go, yes.

Depending on the industry and the destination of the trip. What is it? Making contacts? Recognizing? Close a deal? etc.

But I’ve been taught a bit of austerity anyway. I also take the cheapest hotel today, which meets my minimum standards of comfort.

It doesn’t make any sense to spend more.

Depends on which country

You can’t compare Vietnam with Singapore in Southeast Asia, Romania with Switzerland in Europe or the USA with Mexico in America

I am very often on the go, also internationally. there are huge differences, take NY whether you live in Booklyn or have to take a hotel in Financial District, or whether you live in Madrid, Prague or Paris. You can’t put that on a comb. Then there is also the prestige of the hotel and the travel period (fairs etc) and wei shorts you need to book.. Any number I would write to you would be wrong. I already had rooms for 100,- but also for several hundred.

I was in Tbilisi last week, a very prestige LAnd – also from the hotels. But if you are looking for a good (5*) hotel in the middle of Tbilisi, you will pay 200 euros per day. In Singapore at the Conrad Centennial I had paid 700
