That can have several reasons:

  • The HDMi/Displayport cable is loose or half defective
  • Something wrong with the graphics driver
  • Or your graphics card is half-broken.
  • Or maybe it’s even on the screen.

So first, I would see if the HDMi or display port is correctly connected to the screen and PC.

If it is properly connected, see if such distorted image can also be seen in screen menu setting if yes, then it is either on screen or on HDmi or display port cables themselves.

If the screen menu has quite normal image representation and it is not on cable, go to the BIOS and see if BIOS also has the same symptoms. If so, it looks like a defective graphics card.

Otherwise, try to update or reinstall the graphics drivers.

Check the settings and set a reasonable resolution. If this is not possible, install graphics driver. Best regards

Everything set right? Especially the settings for the graphics card? Reset the values for the graphics card to standard. If the error occurs again, the graphics card is defective.

See if the cable you use is properly plugged in and reset the image settings in the monitor menu.
