Why do I sleep so long on weekends?
Well, I (14) always go to bed around 12:30 AM on weekends and then sleep until 11:00 AM or 1:00 PM. But I don't really need that much sleep.
Why don't I wake up automatically when my body has had enough sleep?

I'm 13 and I have a flat stomach but after eating it swells up a lot and it's not a bloated stomach so I'm wondering what it could be? [Images removed] It shouldn't be a bloated stomach, so what is it then?
I had an MRI of my thoracic spine yesterday. Can someone please give me a detailed explanation of the findings? Unfortunately, I didn't understand much of what my family doctor said. What worries me most is the cystoid structure at the lower pole. An MRI of the upper abdomen will be performed soon. Thank you.:)
Hi, I don't know what the artery on the underside of my wrist is called, but it pulls and hurts, always; suddenly it's there and then it's gone. Can that be dangerous?
What does blood type say? Does it also apply to other areas of life? For example, I learned that some people are more likely to attract mosquitoes because of their blood.
Do you think some dreams have meaning? I recently had a dream that has been bothering me, so I wanted to know what you think.
That you sleep longer on the weekend is probably due to your body taking the time to sleep, which you might have missed under the week. Especially at your age, you often need more sleep, as the body grows and changes a lot.
When you go to bed at 00:30 and sleep until 11–13, you get about 10–12 hours of sleep, which is not so unusual for young people. Try to sleep regularly (approximately 8-10 hours) during the week, then you may not feel that you have to sleep so much longer on the weekend 🙂
Too little sleep under the week could be related.
What would be too little sleep under the week?
That’s different, Between 14 and 17 years, the average sleep of young people is still between eight to ten hours.
Okay, well, thank you.
If you’re asleep, you need that. You have to go to sleep earlier, your body needs sleep in the night
Obviously.
