The fruits of your work are not necessarily edible, you say that. Counting each getier individually is quite cumbersome so it is summarized as “seafood” and then into the paella.

In the past, fishing and collecting marine animals such as shells, crabs, shrimps etc are called harvest. So they had harvested seafood. Of course it’s wrong, but it just got so natural. At some point someone gets on it, then we can’t say it anymore, but we can call crustaceans and soothesthe seas. I stay with frutti di mare
