Why do I always have to enter my PIN?
Hello, I've had a Sparda Bank debit card for a few years now. Normally, I could pay certain amounts per day without having to enter my PIN. However, this hasn't worked for a few days now, so I always have to enter it, even for small amounts like €5. Does anyone know why this is happening?
This is the case with some retailers every day and usually affects all customers with Girocard
When did you last put the card in? The number of contactless payments without PIN is limited. So, next time, insert a card and enter PIN. Then the counter is back to zero.
Oh, I’ll do this tomorrow. Thank you
just right
This should go up to an amount of € 50,00 if your Girocard has the so-called NFC chip. And further presumption is that the seller has accepted the technology. Doesn’t he have in the cases where you had to pay with the PIN?
