I am very sceptical about China’s shares.
China is not a rule of law, and foreign investors cannot complain there, have no rights. Companies cannot manage freely but are always dependent on the government, the party, which can change laws at any time.
There can also be no company transfers from abroad. You can only give your money and look forward to a dividend being granted to you and the shares are rising. If large companies are slapped, China will not intervene so that shareholders do not suffer any damage, as with us (see Commerzbank, see Lufthansa in the Corona crisis)
Just because you have a few ETFs, you don’t hold Chinese corporations in your hands, or you’re curbing the Chinese economy.
