The garbage is cleaned, sorted and distributed. There’s a lot of incineration because the Germans are too stupid to sort properly. Only different types of plastic can be sorted. In the yogurt cup, for example, the lid must be torn off. Then both are recycled, it remains together, the machine cannot separate and the cup comes into the combustion. Trash is worth money in times of raw material deficiencies!

Modern recycling stations have correspondingly good machines for separating the waste, but clear – there is also a lot that still falls through the grid.

Does the complete yellow household waste really come under a magnet and then what happens to the cans of aluminum which are not magnetic?

Yes, he comes under magnets.

The part is completely automated that is not an effort.

It’s being used!

This can be done by returning to the manufacturing process, classic recycling, but also energy recovery.

With us in Bavaria, cans are NOT allowed in the yellow bag, but must be thrown into can containers that are next to the glass containers.

In other federal states they come into the yellow sack, so it is regionally different.

And yes, the cans are sorted out with machines from the garbage of the yellow bag, just like aluminum from other food packaging.

If the piece of garbage is made of various materials, such as a yogurt cup (plastic) on which the draw-off cover (aluminum) still hangs, the machine cannot recognize this and thus cannot sort and the garbage is burned.

The tinplate (doss, lid) can be sorted out by all fabrics as it is magnetic. There is a weak separation in the plastics.

In my area, cans should not be in the yellow sack, but in the can container. We have container stations where separate cans, white glass, green glass and brown glass can be thrown in.

And the aluminum lids of yogurt cups? Are they coming to the metal?

With us. I asked the Waste Management Association by email.

A lot is burned because of this the calorific value is known. This will better control the rubbish.

Metal is sorted out because it cannot be burned so easily, I think

The yellow bag is mainly provided for all packaging material.

The Federal Government wanted the trade to withdraw VErpacksmaterial. This would have overwhelmed trade and the yellow sack was introduced. In the past, only packaging material was allowed in the bag where the corresponding symbol was printed.

Metal filtering is standard. Altmetall is also a valuable raw material of money.

In the yellow sack are exclusively things with the green point.

For the Green Point you pay as a manufacturer money to dispose of the packaging, into the gray ton comes everything without green point, this disposal you pay yourself.

Nonsense, the green point is long no longer mandatory, have they been stuck in the 90s?

It’s not an obligation, but it’s still paid for him as he is.

Och had time to maintain data in the company.

Yes

Can you throw the empty Nutella glass into the yellow ton? There’s another green spot on it.

Yeah, he’s paid, but he doesn’t have to be printed up. Throwing a yogurt cup without printed green dot into the rest of the garbage is crazy and should be urgently omitted!

However, pure metal cans are likely to be removed by electromagnets and sorted by sorting, the rest is burned.
