Why do airport crushes exist?

Why do other people often seem more attractive at the airport? I haven't just noticed this. I hear and read it from others, too. What do you think? Why is it that so many people find a crush at the airport and find other people attractive who they wouldn't find attractive outside of an airport?

Outside it can be exactly that.

I can still just tell you what can be so different at the airport or play a factor…

  • tired at the airport -> tired of flying or tired due to an early flight (positive fatigue, for example, because you are flying on holiday).
  • (International) airport where you can either see a person from another city or from another country and find attractive.
  • positive and OFFENE holiday mood in general
  • open because you yourself are stranger in the normal case
  • ….

but good question, I believe such kind of “poor” is simply highlighted on social media and the feeling arises that it is very big. Not everyone at the airport is in love.
