Whether a video goes viral depends on many, largely uncontrollable factors.

First of all, you need a lot of views, and you’ll get them especially when you’re terminating the switch-on so that at the time, a lot of people are online.

Likes, on the other hand, are as good as irrelevant. The hard currency in this business is “divide”.

Videos are most likely shared when it hits a nerve and is therefore considered worthy to forward it to acquaintances.

These, in turn, have to come to the same conclusion in order to forward it again to their acquaintances, so that a “snowball effect” occurs.
