Wieso funktioniert kein einziger Kompass?
The compass simply depends on the magnetic field of the Earth – which should work and does not have to be calibrated.
Often the cause is quite simple:
Not every metal bothers. Classic ship compasses have brass housings themselves. They are the ferromagnetic metals that interfere, mainly iron and steel.
A compass shows where north is, not east. In cities it becomes difficult with alignment to the north, too much (electro)magnetism. On each Smratphone is one, is more reliable.
Yes, but when north is displayed, east, west and south are automatically displayed.
No. I can’t. With all I’ve seen so far, there’s only one needle, and it shows north. The rest results from this, as far as right.
You should be outdoors and away from the great accumulation of metal.
Any electrical system can cause a magnetic field that interferes with the compass.
Oh. I didn’t know yet. Thank you.
If this is an electronic device, it’s just the cheapest China scrap.
No a normal compass, just a normal compass, analogy.
So a needle that turns? Then it was not magnetized correctly. My two compasses from GDR times work perfectly.
He already works, probably is iron nearby
Do you think it might be close to something magnetic?
There could be something. I’m just sitting on the laptop. Isn’t the hard drive somehow magnetic?
also has a laptop speaker, and they have magnets.
