Another accident. Am I really to blame?

🖖 Greetings

I hate driving. There are too many crazy people on the road. People, this really can't go on anymore. 🤦🏻‍♂️

It was in a built-up area. I kept more than enough of a safe distance and was actually driving 50. Unfortunately, I have to mention that because you get honked at more often when you're actually driving 50. Hate

One driver didn't think that was fast enough and attempted to overtake. He had to abort the overtaking maneuver because there was oncoming traffic, and he pulled in less than three meters in front of me. I eased off the accelerator to restore the safe distance.

Unfortunately, it was too late, as the truck in front of me braked hard and the idiot in front of me slammed on the brakes. I braked, but still lightly touched the truck in front.

Now it's my fault. He just thinks whoever crashes is at fault.

Am I really to blame for this? Will I get punished now? Honestly, I don't see it that way.

Above all, the guy lied endlessly to the police. Of course, the driver behind me didn't stop and offered to be a witness.

I'm so upset that I feel sick now

According to your statement, the other person will definitely have a co-indebtedness. The exact distribution of liability should be decided by a court. The problem of proof is of course.

If you have legal protection insurance that covers this area, I would take a lawyer.

The “overtaker” has not complied with the safety distance and (to avoid an accident) has so close to you that your safety distance is not maintained the.

I would try to raise the truck drivers via advertisements in the newspaper, or even more witnesses who can describe the origin including the reckless maneuver of the overhauler.

Good luck!

If you have legal protection insurance that covers this area, I would take a lawyer.

This would be necessary “only” for the enforcement of your own claims.

If we assume that the other now wants to have money from the FS, the FS’s liability insurance will take care of their defence.

It’s always the fault that goes on. You have to have a witness, or if you’re lucky, you’ve got video material to hollow. Otherwise you have no chance.

Mount a dashcam, this is the smartest thing you can do, because then you have all the evidence with you and are not dependent on anyone.

The certificate is on the riser.

Police have been informed and witnesses can testify how the accident happened?

This is the problem with a large safety distance. Some smart guy always goes in there. I learned it. I can’t let anyone push in.

Then you only have to sign the accident from your point of view and, if necessary, go to court if the opposing insurance does not want to regulate it.

To do this, either contact a lawyer or your insurance and describe the situation, your insurance does not only regulate, but also rejects unjustified claims from the opposite side.

Yeah, you’re guilty. Unless you have witnesses

Well, if there’s no witness in your favor, you’re a resurrection…

Are you sure that’s what happened?

Yeah, without witness, you’re guilty.

if you don’t know, you’re 100% due

you had to commit a witness

no testimonials

that you have done wrong and punish yourself now

so is the university

and if you continue to be so unintentional and persist that you are innocent, it will happen to you more often

That’s not true – by the way you write witnesses and guilt big 😉

Dumb running.

Unfortunately, you just left the gas to restore the sufficient safety distance. Braking would have been necessary here, as you now have to learn painfully.

I’ve had a similar accident like you happened to me, and I’ve just been hitting the dump. It came the police took everything up and the other who braked with abruptly got 100% guilt. Go to the lawyer.

then he was an idiot and had granted his debt

if the other had acted reasonable, you would have just got 100% debt without witness

by the way you write the other small

I don’t care if you can write German and if you believe me, I’ll report facts.

I hate driving,

Incorrect setting, you should switch to bus and train.

Yeah, who’s on his way. Your distance wasn’t great enough, your reaction was too slow.
