The taste in childhood is not as pronounced as that of adults, so children do not like everything.

When children are forced to eat, they develop phobias and some foods no longer eat, so it is counterproductive.

We went best with it by placing various food offers on the table, so there was something for every child: salad and prepared vegetables, but also raw fruit and vegetables.

If a child e.g. no rice, you can also put a few slices of bread on the table.

I wouldn’t push the kids to anything, so they’re gonna get jacky and refuse. You can also allow the children to look for something in the kitchen, what they prefer when they get up from the table, but they shouldn’t get into candy.

I am always in favour of involving small children:

In the food planning and preparation – even small kids can sniff, stir, taste, draw vegetables, fruits and herbs and harvest etc…

In most cases, make them great fun – and bring them to healthy food in a playful way!

The eye eats with – with imagination and creativity you can make every dish child-friendly, also vegetables…

We should trust our children much more…;)

Sure, that’s best and if you involve your children and bring them to these things, then that can even be fun for them and adult couples can also be fun, because you can have an excellent conversation next door.

When a child is picky at dinner, it is often up to parents, because usually children eat almost everything..

We don’t always like everything, but you eat everything.

What does a mother who has several children cook an extra meal for each child?

But one can always make the exception and cook the favorite food from the child.

Also depends on how old the child is.

Many children don’t like spinach, but you can try it again – maybe something playful – but then you can’t force it.

On the one hand, there are still no taste nerves for babies or small children, which still develop and

on the other hand, these are often “sautified” today because children already get food with flavor enhancers. Which child is still eating a natural yogurt today, without taste?

Or what baby drinks a homemade tea without sugar if it only gets finished tea.

Often children look at eating habits from parents too, “Papa doesn’t like it, so I don’t like it.”

If the child doesn’t get anything, you shouldn’t make it. There are different degrees of sensitivity in humans

I don’t think so.

Do you have any health reasons? Or just a decision?

My parents were consistent: everything had to be tried. What does not taste then does not have to be eaten. There was an emergency bread.

How to keep it today

It’s eating something on the plate. What is not tasted is just left out and if nothing tastes you have bad luck.
