I grew up in the GDR, about 300 metres from the Baltic Sea beach. The Baltic Sea was then a border.
The Dutch and the Belgian border are both from me about 170 km (car). And Luxembourg is about 130 km away.

about 10 kilometres from the Dutch border. The supermarkets here with us in the border area are completely taken by the Dutch on the first fireworks sales day.
