How many hours am I allowed to work at the company if my training contract states 8 hours per day?

I'm over 18 and have started an office apprenticeship. My employment contract states 8 hours per day. My question is, is the break included? Do I have to be at work from 8 am to 4 pm or from 8 am to 5 pm, with the lunch break being counted separately? How does this work? Am I allowed to leave at 4 pm since my employment contract states 8 hours?

At 8h according to contract, normally 8:45h come together because the breaks are mandatory.

The break is not a working time. Whether you’re bringing them in or outside, it’s your business.

The Working Hours Act allows up to 10 hours of daily work.

So you can work for 10 hours. If you have an accident after 10 1/2 hours of work, your boss gets problems with the BG.

Break times do not count on working hours. And are not to be expected accordingly.

If your boss doesn’t send you home because he wants to close, you can also depend on your entire spare time in operation. There is no control of how many hours a day you can stop at maximum in operation.

At our factory there are a few construction containers for aid workers from Romania, if they do not go shopping, the 24 hours a day are in operation, but of course do not work 24 hours.

You don’t work in the break – so it’s not working time!
