So in principle, this would have to be enough, because this is about the 9 kg load and it must hold your rod first, etc. You can do a beer box with about 20 empty 0.33 bottles and then lift them with your fishing rod. Then you have your 9 kg load.
In addition, it is about the spider loads of the cord, which is probably somewhat reduced by knots etc. Ultimately, the cord must hold the weight against rod, roll & brake if you get proper headstrokes from the fish. So I would then tune the device to about 5kg and then cord will be released, or even a little bit more, because the 5kg will go directly on the one hook in the fish lip, which should actually be the weakest member when fishing.
So yes, the carrying power of the cord should be rich and properly capital catches will make the role a little singing.
