This isn’t as easy to say, because you’re guaranteed to work harder than…

Buy a bum and make a stitch sample. The rest, if you have measured the length, width and weight of the sample, is three-piece… If you are good, then you can add this stitch sample later, otherwise you would have to nap and then crochet again.

From a 50g/50m knitted felt wool, I used 4.2kg (84 knäul) for a wool blanket of about 200*290cm in the Dalby pin.

ds does not help because needle binding is not crocheting.

Then still remains your own stitch sample…

whatever bulky or superbulky may be – I speak German.

running length and needle thickness please.

hatnut or myboshi you need about 3 knäuel for a cap with a 6 pin, 56cm head circumference and 21cm high. a bell has 55 meters.

15cm one calculates full, the remaining 6cm one calculates half, would be 18cm, would be over the thumb-lined 7cm for 50g

the makes 7cm height x 56cm head circumference = 392 square centimeter fixed meshes per knuckle. cautiously, you would turn down to 385.

so – your deck should be 135cm x 200cm. if I should expect this in my head, I reckon 270cm x 100cm because that is exactly as big.

these are 27,000 square centimeters. divided by the 385 square centimeters that you can crochet with a belly.

gives 70,129 knäuel.

with security allowance you need 72 knäuel, 3.6 kilo. at 3.95 euro for a knäuel you are at about 280 euro. I find violent.

These are useful measures. I guess the running length per 50g column. It tells me that my project in crocheted would weigh about twice.

You could look for rest for the planned ceiling and thus save the budget. But socks are more likely to be found at classifieds…
