How many Hertz should I choose?

Hi, I wanted to upgrade my two 2560×1440 60Hz monitors to a single 27-inch 2560×1440 monitor. I'm just undecided about the Hertz, between 144 and 240 Hz. I mostly play Fortnite and other shooters, and my budget isn't huge. How many Hertz/which model should I choose?

Moin, when choosing Hertz, you should pay attention to how much FPS you are playing on average. Play some of your games and watch how much FPS creates your PC. Based on this, you then select your hertz number on monitor. More Hertz, when your PC outputs FPS, don’t get anything because your monitor can only display as many pictures as you can.

However, a monitor over 144 Hz does not bring you so much anymore. These high hertz numbers can no longer really perceive our eye, the difference between 25Hz, 60Hz and 144Hz was just because the delay between the input and the display on the screen is less.

Would definitely take 240Hz.

Many here will tell you that the difference between 144Hz and 240Hz is not so big. I don’t find it right, especially at E-Sports you really notice a difference.

So much more expensive are 240Hz compared to 144Hz also not.

The KOORUI seems quite ok with 4.3s G2G Response Time.

He even measured 3.4ms here. Seems really good for the money.

Better brightness, better panel, lower reaction time, better contrast, 10bit color space instead of 8bit, better color space coverage, etc.

Yes, of course, in the one I described, it is mainly about my past experiences with monitors. If your computer creates the 165 hZ and you are fine with a VA panel, you will be happy with it (also priced 🙂

Yeah, sure is the playable. I personally prefer IPS Panels (because of the above mentioned points). VA panels like the AOC has

144hz – The difference when you go about it is minimal, you will notice it first and foremost at the monitor price.

You can feel different in all hearts. At 60 & 120 even most. With a small budget, however, 120/144.
