What is the maximum amount of memory I can install in my laptop?

I bought an Asus Zenbook 14 Flip (2022), but only with a 500GB internal storage because I already had a 2TB SSD. I thought I'd just install it. The problem is, the laptop won't boot with the new SSD anymore; I can only access the BIOS. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? My theory was that the motherboard simply doesn't support 2TB, but I haven't found anything on that.

Does anyone have a tip?

By the way, the SSD itself is already compatible.

That’s normal.

The new SSD is not an operating system he could boot. You need to install such a thing (e.g. from a USB stick).

The problem is, the laptop does not boot with the new ssd anymore,

If you don’t have Windows installed on the new SSD, nothing can boot.

SSDs are not delivered with installed Windows.
