How much is this Rolleicord camera worth?
Hey, I bought this beautiful medium format camera for 50€ at a flea market in Hamburg today.
Condition is really good. (No scratches on the lens, only the viewfinder is a bit dirty.)
Everything still works (shutter speed, shutter button, focus, etc.).
I looked it up online and can't believe how much the camera is selling for.
I must be wrong, right?
Can someone who is familiar with this type of camera give me some kind of expertise?

Hello The Triotar of Zeiss Jena was installed between 1936 and 1950:

with the serial number of the camera! It should be the same with the lens number:

However, the lens seems to have fungal attack. Or it could also be a reflection. That’s why it’s more accurate.
The Rolleicord is the little sister of Rolleiflex and therefore cheaper.

However, a problem has arisen after some first pictures:
Before buying, I tested the camera for heart and kidneys, including all exposure times.
Now the shutter stops below 1/25 at exposure times, the shutter remains open for photos with longer exposure time.
From 1/25 to 1/300 everything goes super.
Maybe it’s an old feather or the gears have to be oiled again.
I’ll go to a camera technician around the corner this week.

The problem is unfortunately known: The old oils are resinous with time. A reputable Kamara technician should be able to easily repair the closure. I also had the problem on different lenses.

I can’t call you an exact value, but you’re probably not. Depending on the brand, you already pay good 50€ for cameras in bad condition. Bad means a lot of scratches, broken places and lightleaks.
For this camera you can get a lot if you find the right buyer. In the pictures she looks like she’s in a really good condition. A bag is also included and Rollei is a good, well-known brand
After Ebay you can’t go there are often fantasies for buying instantly, which the sellers would like, but are rarely bought like this (although idiots find themselves again and again).
I think I’ve already been a bargain, but if you look at auctions successfully finished on Ebay, you won’t get much more. Guess she’s worth 100€, a maximum of 150€.
This is a Rollespill II, internal name K.3; Model 521. From March 1936 to August 1937, 30.542 pieces were built. She has no tempered lens yet.
The condition seems quite good, 50 € were a good price for it. At best, you will get 100 € but hardly any more, provided it works.
