Ozempic contains the active ingredient semaglutide and is a medicine for the treatment of Diabets type II. The same active ingredient is also sold in many countries under the trade name Wegovy. Wegovy is used to treat obesity (medical overweight). Semaglutid is known above all for its anti-application action.

With overweight, a higher dosage is often necessary than with diabetes. Semaglutid is injected 1x per week with a pen (injection pin) into the underfat tissue of the skin. The pen can be dosed. As a rule, the lowest possible dose is started (0.25mg) to test compatibility. Subsequently, the dose is increased stepwise until a sufficient effect develops. The maximum dose is 2.4mg per week.

I’d talk to a doctor. If you’re using such a method to lose weight, I don’t think that should happen without medical care….

Ozempic is available in the dosages 0.25 mg, 0.5 mg and 1 mg, no IE is given in this drug.

For pure weight reduction, Wegovy is admitted in Germany, Ozempic may be prescribed exclusively for medical indication.

Ozempic is not meant for that.

If you are a diabetic, your doctor will inform you.
