How much money does the parent receive?

The monthly support for a family of six, consisting of two parents, two adult children (students/pupils), and two minor children (pupils), is made up of various components: Citizen's Allowance and Child Benefit (parents unemployed).
### 1. **Citizen's Allowance**
Each family member in the household is entitled to a specific standard rate, which in 2024 will be as follows:
– **Parents**: 506 euros per person
– **Adult children (18-24 years)** living in the parents' household: 451 euros per person
– **Young people (14-17 years)**: 471 euros per person
– **Children (6-13 years)**: 390 euros per person
This results in a total standard rate of **3,236 euros** (2 x 506 euros for the parents, 2 x 451 euros for the adult children, 1 x 471 euros for the adolescent child, and 1 x 390 euros for the youngest child).
### 2. **Child benefit**
In addition to the citizen's allowance, there is child benefit, which will be structured as follows in 2024:
– For the first to third child: 250 euros each
– For the fourth child: 250 euros

Children’s money must be deducted from the children’s regular needs, is the child’s predictable income, as long as the child needs the child’s money for their own needs.
