I guess two years. Eric’s the same age as Jenny, right? And Jenny is the first year in high school at the beginning, so they are probably there 14. And Blair will be in the first season 17, so I think Serena is 16 too.

So Serena would be at the beginning of 16 and Eric 14. Hope I could help (:
