It depends, with rider, without rider? With saddle but without rider?
From the coupling (destroyed?) or in the wild (mustang horses?)….

Behavior on horse with saddle, but without rider:
Keep calm, see if you see injured people somewhere. If you have any idea of the horse, talk quietly to the animal and make sure it is possible, this is too dangerous, go in the direction from which the horse came and call with a firm but calm voice whether someone needs help. Tell the police about this.

Behavior in horse without saddle, which obviously comes from a coupling (fly mask, fly cloth etc.):
Keep calm, don’t go into the hockey, don’t look directly in the eyes (just make predators who want to attack). Look around if there’s a broken fence, inform the police.

Always observe exactly how the animals look, they are calm, breathe slowly and the ears are straight (attentively), threatening only less danger. But if the animals are sweated wet, look panically around and snuck like crazy, something has happened that the animals have panicked.

The most dangerous thing would be if you were in the fights. It can be good that everyone wants to see if you have food. They can be so curious that they’re fighting for you. Then please be loud, tear arms up and somehow get away.

Don’t let it come that far and keep distance. Close one: all right! Close two: Go quick.

They won’t follow you. What for? And if a herd walks randomly in your direction, you just move out laterally.

Stay on the right side of the fence.

Stay calm, don’t panic. Stand still. Horses are not predators, but very peaceful animals.

During a hike in the mountains it can happen that you meet horses who live freely throughout the summer without fences. As you write, stay calm, stop or walk past a distance.

You never know exactly where the questioners are going… I already met a question here, and the FS had entered the pasture and then wondered…

Come horse to walk on you, stand still, the horses will pass by you. Some of you may be sniffing curiously. If you have to walk past a grassy herd horses, then just walk past the horses at a reasonable distance. Horses don’t follow you, they’re not predators.

Sometimes it doesn’t stay at the sniffing. With me, a horse wanted to pick up my backpack and when I went on it came after. Something was falling on the horse. In loud words, I could take it off.

Then let the horse go after you. There’s nowhere to go. Horses are peace-loving escape animals that do not pursue a person because they want him something evil. You’re curious and like to drink.

Then there was something in your backpack very good for the horse.

I wasn’t afraid of the horse, but on my backpack it shouldn’t crack and break it.

Horses don’t follow, they’re going out for the purpose.

Don’t make the sound of a growing bee! It’s better to have a bike with you when hiking.
