Hello

The D-Lux 3 is based on the Lumix LX2 and is nothing “special” like the Leica DigiLux 3 with “real” Leica optics (from the Fuji cooperation).

2 years later, the Olympus XZ1 came and cleared the LX2 from the top of the 3/2″ class, whereupon Lumix countered the LX3.

Used XZ1 or LX3 can be bought from 50€…

A used camera without a function test is given at most. If the owner/seller can not even invest 5-10€ for a brand post-construction battery/will the camera is probably scrap, even if it is a Leica. At Leica, the battery costs 100€

http://www.google.com/search?q=leica+d+lux+3+problem

The Nokia 5.4 has only one “minimum camera” of the 200€ class.

According to Chip Test, the 48MP main camera has 1525LP/BH resolution / VN1,8 at ISO 100 in the center. Probably this is a Samsung Isocell GM2 imager with 1/2″ sensor size and f1.8 optics corresponds to a 50/11 small image

The LX 2 has 1000LP/BH resolution / VN1,7 at ISO 100 in the center at zoom position normal focal length and probably by f4 corresponds to a 50/18

From my point of view, the Leica is “opportune”

How can I objectively compare the camera of my smartphone Nokia 5.4 with this camera?

You’d have to have both cameras and light the same motive. It’s not going far.

But I can tell you that the Leica has a 1/1.65 inch CCD sensor with 10 megapixels with a zoom lens of 28-112mm in front and light intensity of F2.8–4.9 (the lower the better).

Nothing is known about the sensor size in the Nokia, therefore probably nix special (as usual with phones probably a slightly smaller 1/2.3 inch sensor) with 48 megapixels, no zoom and light intensity f1.8. Digital zoom allows you to zoom lossless 2x with 12 megapixels. So it’s about a zoom of 24-48mm.

If I look at the photos here, I don’t see what you wouldn’t get with any x-popular digital pub:

Larger sensor than your two cameras and therefore far better photo quality in poorer light conditions. As well as real analog blur in the background instead of digitally calculated as with mobile phones.
