How do you train a gripping hand?
I want to train my left hand so that I can use it as a fretting hand. I just tried playing C major. Okay, it's supposed to be one of the hardest chords. But I also noticed that it's difficult to hit and hold the strings. Also, it's hard to maintain muscle endurance.
Are there any gymnastic finger exercises or something like that?

This is one of the light chords!
If this is also your problem, you have a much too high grip pressure, and this is complete cheese. If anything doesn’t work, the power is never the problem, but the technology.
I just want to take up a part of your question, because the part with the finger exercises has been answered very well.
The open C major chord with three fingers is surely one of the lighter basic chords. From my own experience, I recommend you to learn it from the beginning with four fingers. At least when strumming, he sounds much fuller. You put the ring finger in the third. Fret on the deep e-string and the little finger underneath on the A-string. Show and middle fingers stay the same. You can hit all strings or do not have to damp the deep E string.
You will also get used to keeping small fingers and ring fingers together, which will help you with the 4-finger G major, 4-finger F major with small barré and almost all Barrés.
H>I,
There is a study “The left hand of the guitarist”
The left hand of the guitarist (kyrwalda.de)
Googelt left hand guitar you will find a number of posts and training instructions.
Actually, this is about keeping the wrist straight, squeezing the strings by the weight of the forearm and relaxing the hand in extreme positions so that the fingers do not tire prematurely or even scratch.

Just one tip: If you can grab A minor, the normal C major shouldn’t drop you hard anymore. Simply put the ring finger from the G string on the A string. Practice this change regularly and gradually. Then you get the C major grip on it quickly.
heizfeld has already written something about this.
As an open chord certainly did not intervene. It’s easier.
